Making of Helaya

This tutorial describes my process for creating a surreal / fantasy “fire-goddess”.

In a painterly style this “walkthrough” covers the creation from sketch to final colortone-enhancing. During the video a lot important hints and descriptions are written, so that its easier to press pause and practice.

The tools used in this tutorial are limited to brush, smudge, polygon-lasso, transformation and gradient-overlay-effects as also layer effects. Its for advanced painters and photoshop-experienced users, while some hints and shortcuts maybe interesting for beginners and experts alike.
